capCAP uses #5 Polypropylene plastic. It is 100% BPA-free, and 100% Polycarbonate-free.

Newer Nalgene OTG

("Everyday" BPA-free)

In recent months, Nalgene and CamelBak have switched to a new material for their clear, colored water bottles. These bottles are marked as "Everyday" (on Nalgene bottles) and "BPA-Free" (on CamelBak bottles).

This new material can sometimes make for a tight fit with our capCAP product. The capCAP will still work, but it can be hard to screw on and tighten completely.

humangear has already adjusted the fit of our capCAP so that it now works freely and easily on these new bottles, as well as all the previous bottles (shown here).

Only a small number of capCAPs were sold that may have a tight fit. If you happen to have one of them and find it's difficult to screw onto your bottle, please email us at contact@humangear.com with your name and address and we will send you out a replacement large cap, free of charge.
